Terms and Conditions Governing Sompo's Worry-Free Adventure Contest

Sompo's "Worry-Free Adventure" Contest (hereinafter "Contest") is organised by Sompo Insurance Singapore Pte. Ltd. ("Sompo").

By participating in the Contest, all participants must have read, understood, accepted and agreed to comply with the terms and conditions stated here which shall be binding on all participants.

The Contest will be held from 18 July to 29 August 2019 (inclusive of both dates) ("Contest Period").

Eligibility

This contest is open only to Singapore residents, aged 18 and above.

Sompo's employees and their immediate family members, advertising agencies and any other persons directly involved in organising, promoting and/or conducting the contest are not eligible to participate.

Mechanics

To enter the contest, participants have to take a selfie with any of the 4 Contest posters in 100 bus stops and taxi stands.

Participants will have to go to the pinned Contest post on Sompo's Facebook page and upload their selfie, as well as their greatest travel worry, as a comment to the post.

Winners

All participants stand a chance to win the grand prize of $1,000 worth of Singapore Airlines vouchers or runner up prize of $50 Isetan vouchers.

4 grand winners and 30 runner ups will be drawn at random.

Winners will be announced on Sompo's Facebook page [www.facebook.com/SompoSG] on Friday, 6 September 2019.

Sompo will send all winners a private message via Facebook messenger on the prize redemption information. Winners will be required to provide their personal and contact details for verification purposes.

By accepting the terms and conditions, and participating in the contest, participants have agreed to allow Sompo to use their personal data collected from the contest for the purpose of contacting and verifying the winners.

Sompo reserves the right to substitute any prize with another similar value item without prior notice. All prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.

All transportation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses incurred to collect/redeem the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

General

Any termination, suspension, amendment or variation of the Contest or the terms and conditions herein by Sompo shall not entitle any participant to any claims or compensation from Sompo for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by that participant, whether directly or indirectly caused.

Sompo's decision on all matters relating to the Contest will be at its absolute discretion and shall be final, conclusive, and binding on all parties. No further correspondence or claim will be entertained.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the participants irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall not have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
